To lots of people, buying a cheese cutting board could sound a little silly. Many people already have a regular cutting board so why do they need one that's specially for cheese?

That is exactly what I thought for a long time. I must note that my fiance and I are huge cheese eaters, but we were more than comfortable utilizing a normal cutting board and not spending the extra cash to purchase one that is made for cheese (no matter how cute a Swiss cheese cutting board may look!). I have to say, that the combination of the great knives and the wire cutter really helped us cut cheese more quickly and efficiently. We also use the board to serve cheese on and we're constantly getting asked about it! My family certainly adore it.

After all this, I would absolutely buy another one of these if faced with the chance. I cannot believe that we went so long without one, believing that our normal board would do it fine.
